Stay Still

"Having the answers is not essential to living. What is essential is the sense of God's presence during dark seasons of questioning."
-Ravi Zacharias

"Be still, and know that I [am] God: I will be exalted among the
heathen, I will be exalted in the earth."
-Psalm 46:10

When we are challenged, our impulsive reactions have always been that of fear and worry. Some also complain and murmur. Well, humanly speaking it is understandable. However, these emotional responses get us nowhere at the end of the day.

Drawing the best out of our momentary downtimes demands inner stillness which creates the needed mental atmosphere to gain perspective, experience God’s presence and glean valuable lessons.

There is no loss in stillness. Rather there is a lot to gain, to glean and to experience constructively. 1 David gained consciousness of God’s presence in his dark hours.2 Paul realized the benefit of certain obstacles.3 Joseph saw his challenges as a God-designed stairway to greatness & his destiny of leadership.4

Take grace to hear what God is saying now. Shalom!
